We are currently looking for a Partnership Manager for Financial Institutions (FI) who wants to join our team. You will build relations with financial institutions and intermediaries in order to distribute our Credit and SaaS solutions to SMEs, mid-market corporates and public administrations in Spain.

What will you do?
As said, your mission will be to build relations with financial institutions and intermediaries in order to distribute our Credit and SaaS solutions to SMEs, mid-market corporates and public administrations in Spain.
Partnerships represent Novicap’s most important commercial origination channel. This role is therefore critical in contributing to the success of Novicap.
The Partnership Manager will be responsible for building a diversified portfolio of financial institutions partnerships across:
(i) Financial institutions:
Researching, identifying, and qualifying financial institutions that could be a strategic partner. This means that their lead generation fits with our product and market strategy, and that we help them achieve their goal
Act as project lead for the structuring, negotiation, and implementation of strategic partnership agreements, including coordination with the product and technology teams
Manage the existing strategic partnerships by reviewing performance, identifying areas for improvements, and optimise lead & revenue generation for Novicap
Keep aware of any new market developments with respect to strategic partnership opportunities with financial institutions, and summarise it for management
(ii) Financial intermediaries:
Sourcing, identifying, and qualifying financial intermediaries, such as credit insurance brokers, accounting firms, corporate finance firms
Educate financial intermediaries about the Credit and SaaS solutions range of Novicap, including via the creation of content in collaboration with the marketing team
Lead negotiations and close partnership agreements with financial intermediaries
Manage the existing financial intermediary partnerships by reviewing performance of each partner and optimising the number of commercial leads generated for the Credit and SaaS Sales teams
Gather feedback from financial intermediaries as to market intelligence and evolving client requirements, and summarise it for management
In doing so, you will contribute to the achievement of Novicap’s long-term growth plans 🚀

Who will you be working with?
You will report directly to the Head of Partners. You will also work closely with the rest of colleagues across Madrid, Barcelona and the rest of Spain. A young and dynamic team that’s waiting for you with arms open!
You are the right fit if you have:
4 - 6 years’ experience in B2B partner-facing (or client-facing) function in the financial services industry;
Proven track record of success establishing and developing B2B partnerships with financial institutions, ideally in the mid-market segment;
Structured approach to research, planning and organisation skills;
Great negotiation skills with a client acquisition (“hunter”) mindset;
An entrepreneurial mindset: you are pragmatic, autonomous and self-driven;
An ability to build relationships through a consultative sales process and maintaining strategic conversations with senior executives;
A capacity to synthesise the value proposition of Novicap’s range of solutions in a commercial presentation
Outstanding teamwork capabilities, with a proven track record of collaborating with various teams within an organisation
Strong work ethic, with a passion for selling
Technology savvy and proficient in the use of a range of communication, presentation and other business tools (e.g. Google Suite, Hubspot)
Fluency in Spanish and Catalan. English is a nice to have
