We are currently looking for a Finance Manager who wants to join our team. You will play a critical role in managing all the accounting, controlling and reporting processes.

What will you do?

As said, you will play a critical role in managing all the accounting, controlling and reporting processes. You will be responsible for ensuring excellence of the Finance team, supporting C-level decisions with financial data & analysis.

The Finance team’s mission is to: keep our accounts accurate, define and track the relevant KPIs and produce reports so that we can interpret how our business is doing from a financial standpoint. The team also looks after day-to-day finance needs of the entire organization, including invoicing, payroll and expenses.

Your responsibilities will include:

Reporting and Budgeting

• Lead the preparation and maintenance of financial reports, ensuring their timely delivery.

• Lead the elaboration of the consolidated financial statements.

• Analyze financial information and financial statements.

• Assist with other additional reporting requirements as needed.

Accounting

• Prepare monthly account reconciliations to the general ledger.

• Prepare monthly / quarterly / year-end closing.

• Prepare and control Intercompany Transactions.

• Prepare External Vendor Payment run Proposals.

• Manage the statutory books of the company, including the employee stock options program.

• Manage corporate bank accounts in the UK and Spain.

• Manage and record vendor invoices, banks and credit cards payments.

• Maintain and update fixed assets ledger.

• Register payroll and other expense allocation.

• Manage accounting, execute and/or record transactions and maintain supporting documentation.

• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP accounting rules, where applicable.

• Control of cash flows and cash position.

Audit and Internal Control

• Lead the external financial audit process (UK and Spain) on an annual basis, from auditors’ appointment to successful passing of the audit.

• Manage the monthly internal audit process

• Review and approve requests from the Commercial and Operations team with respect to customer-facing financial processes

• Lead the Procurement and Expenses processes to ensure appropriate cost control across the organization, in collaboration with Office Management

Tax

• Prepare and File VAT declarations and other statutory reports.

• Support in the preparation of the Intercompany Transfer Pricing Documentation.

Who will you be working with?

You will manage a direct report (Finance Analyst), and will report directly to C-level. You will work closely with the rest of colleagues across Madrid and Barcelona. A young and dynamic team that’s waiting for you with arms open!

You are the right fit if you have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.

• 7+ years of proven experience in a similar role (audit, controlling, reporting)

• An excellent use of Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of ERP systems (knowledge in Netsuite would be valued)

• Excellent listening, speaking & written communication skills, both in English and in Spanish

• Technical and financial knowledge, including understanding of internal control requirements and accounting principles

• Attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills, so as strong problem solving skills

• Adaptability to change, so as a positive attitude

• Proactivity and you are used to meeting tight deadlines
